Portrait of a vagrant

I had a little chat with a little man I met far from home He had nothing but the clothes on his back and a treasured metal ring on his wedding finger, From afar you’d say his life is of no consequence He neither enjoys much nor suffers much, I had a chat with a lonely man with no home and few possessions and it is an indelible experience in my journey He had very few words and an unmatched depth in his eyes This is the portrait of a vagrant stuck in my minds eye.
