My favorite part of photography is that you can tell an entire story by asking the right questions. Why is this bucket left with its fishing gear, was it a farther son trip or a lonely man who lost his wife finding solace in his morning fish. These hypothetical characters began to spin in my head. I needed to take the photo before they came back because that’s the photo that would pose the most questions. I snapped the photo, began down the path. Checking behind me to see who might have actually had the fishing gear, but as the miles passed no one came. An untold story that is really up for the viewer to interpret, but it could also just be a picture of a bucket.
