Our heroine September Mourning welcomes you to Mortem, the land of the dead. Walk through this portal and you are in the Hotel Sanctuary, a dilapidated hotel in Mortem. Here, September hides the Exiles, those souls she has taken that she intends to give a second chance at life in another host's body, from the Dark Man's reapers who wish to consume these souls to gain power. The September Mourning song, "Hiding From Heaven" is synched to this piece of the story. The character of September Mourning is a human-reaper hybrid, who feels the need to give good human souls a second chance at life, sparking this epic battle between the living and the dead.
