Edgar remembers: “I became an artist after one epiphany-alike event. One day, I was walking around the woods in the forest of my village in Poland, when I stumbled upon an apple that had partially fallen down from the tree. It was on the ground. I picked it up and held it in my hand for a while, just to look at it. Suddenly, an epiphany struck me: what if I were to carve out the core of that apple into some kind of small creature, like a squirrel or a horse… What an idea!
