Image taken on June 2018.
From 2013 to 2018, I photographed pedestrians on Singapore's Esplanade Bridge. This bridge is always packed with tourists as it overlooks the Marina Bay and the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel, offering them the perfect backdrop for their photos. I was intrigued by their behaviour and decided to capture all their antics and quirks. Today, the Esplanade Bridge is a shadow of her former self. The tourists are gone because of the pandemic. Will we ever see such scenes again?
