ASHCHARYA

In this painting I chose to write “Ashcharya” in my native Nepali letters. The word means both WONDER and SURPRISE. Perfect word to meditate on and get the new year started! I invite you to slow down and meditate over the multiple layers in this painting. I hope you feel inspired to keep your sense of wonder and openness to surprises that you might encounter this year. The painting was on view as part of my solo show “Ashcharya” at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
