I drove through the rockies in 2019 and was so moved by the majestic mountains, they rendered me speechless. It's just the most beautiful thing you'll ever see. Add that to your bucket list if you've never driven through the Rockies.

When I got home from my trip I longed to be back in the mountains again, but the best I could do was a cheap Banff shower curtain. So I bought the shower curtain so I could look at mountains while showering each day. And that’s where Banff Aliens were conceived, which you can learn more about in the unlocked content.

Each alien is created in Adobe Photoshop and takes about an hour to make. They all have a unique meaning and message, many relating to planet earth or human nature.

Banff Aliens

The planet has been speaking to us lately through water, but not all of us are listening, especially many at the top. Floods are more common and frequent than ever before with climate change exasperating the situation making them more unpredictable and devastating communities. This alien is here to remind us that we must take steps to lessen the impact on communities both coastal and inland that are prone to flooding, while also taking steps as humans to reduce the impact of climate change by changing our behaviour on the planet. It’s not too late.
