The K1NG was disgusted by the Queen's greed. She took as much as she could from anyone - their poverty did not discourage her. The Queen particularly loved gold: gold coins, gold necklaces, gold rings. The K1NG stood by, watching the Queen direct her men to prise gold out of the hands of their subjects.
To celebrate their 20th year of marriage, the Queen demanded the K1NG make a solid golden statue of her outside the Palace gates. The villagers crowded round and sobbed, watching their gold being melted and slowly built up in to the figure of the woman that had ruined them.
