The Eternal Twirl of an Emotional Carousel

This is a foray into my creative process. It’s chaotic, it’s messy, it’s raw, it’s real. A melange of emotions locked in a never-ending dance of human existence. “What Makes an Artist” is my most important body of work to date with each piece involving a great deal of meticulousness and patience. In the early stage of the ideation process, I go through hundreds of iterations before I reach the desired end result. It’s a journey filled with discovery, struggle, breakthrough, hardship, celebration, joy, revelation, and fulfillment. This piece aims to be a celebration of that process, which I believe to be just as important as the outcome. The process is the art.
