Snoop is one of the most iconic voices and personalities in history -- not just in hip hop, but in music in general. Hailing from the LBC, Snoop was integral in the shaping of the Long Beach rap sound along with his family and friends -- namely, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Daz Dillinger and Lil Half Dead. Pictured in front of the iconic World Famous V.I.P. Record Store in Long Beach.

His ability to create a sound and lyrics that are unique, and test the boundaries with the content of his music made, him an icon of music and culture. Snoop's music defined an entire era of west coast rap in the early- to mid-90s, and has continued to inspire rappers and musicians over the last three decades.
