Urban Ghosts

Urban Ghosts is the second of my "Audio Reactive" series - a series where an image (created with an ISF shader) inspires a musical composition which is then mapped back to manipulate the original image - creating an interactive symbiosis between Visual and Audio. This piece is inspired by the eeriness universally felt in densely populated areas at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, where sights and sounds we took for granted were suddenly ghostly memories. This piece also intends to capture the feeling and optimism we have as we very slowly return to normal and watch our cities and countries rebound.
