The soul child from the 60's Jimi Hendrix is one of the most important people to ever use a guitar. Some would argue that he invented a new form of music the way he played and used distortion. I love how he was able to take something that white people loved, Rock and Roll, and bring a new dimension to it in a time where there was a lot of racial hostility in America. I like to think that the way Jimi Hendrix played allowed some white people to look at Black people with more respect and dignity. I mean if one of your favorite musicians is Black it's harder to be racist based on logic.
I think Jimi's music will never be forgotten for as long as any music is played. It's too powerful, it's too...
