A stunning scene unfolded before me as I saw the grand Mt.Kanchenjunga range beneath a starry sky of a million stars. It was a cold night, in Pelling, Sikkim. Very cold. I've never photographed stars before, like ever. This would be my first try. And it wasn't easy especially with frozen trembling hands. And standing out, on wet grass, on a super cold night to have my first taste in astrophotography, was truly worth it. And I wasn't even wearing any socks. My feet were cold, figuratively and literally. But the cold was no match for the warm feeling inside me. It was sight, the moon was behind me, and the moonlight shone on the gentle giant, and the stars looked over it.
