Teal 011T (4/4) - Lotus LSD i - LSD Drops Collection

Teal 011T is the eleventh piece in the Lotus LSD i / LSD Drops Collection and the artist's third ever animated multimedia piece. The piece is a play on the internalized Cambodian proverb "Men are like gold, if dropped in the mud it can be washed and is still gold. But women are like white cotton cloth, once soiled with mud; it can never be made clean again" (Ledgerwood, 1990). The artist, when she finds stillness, can let go of regrets, mistakes and disappointment. These stains on the white lotus "petals" are washed away, in time with the calming reverberations, until the next attack.
