Lewis Caroll's books, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland have inspired artists from John Tenniel to Salvador Dali. In his collection, Alice in Coutureland, renowned fine art fashion illustrator Paul Keng brings Carroll's characters to the runway. "I take what I see and translate it into fashion. When I draw, I am in a trance and become another character. I imagine wearing it. I feel every stroke. I know the fabric and the prints, and create a dream." The first piece of the collection depicts Keng's vision of Carroll's character, Alice in the world of high fashion, wearing Versace Couture, and incorporating the iconic images of Alice's Wonderland.
