The Moon Jar ( 달항아리Dalhangari )

The Moon Jar (Dalhangari 달항아리) by Grida This is a homage to a white porcelain artwork typical of Joseon Dynasty. I based my work on the National treasure no.309 in Leeum Museum of Art. Moon Jar is as simple as a circle but complicated as the moon. Its surface is cold as ceramic but as warm as skin. If you stare at it for a while, it might spark your imagination. Then you will know why Bill Gates and so many western collectors love it.
