A striking golden note from Bhutan which displays King Jigme Khesar Namqyel Wangchuk with the Raven Crown on the right and an image derived from the Emblem of Bhutan in the center. Kingdom of Bhutan, is a constitutional monarchy that has Mahayana Buddhism as its state religion and it is located in the Eastern Himalayas, with China to the north and India to the south. The national emblem, contained in a circle, is composed of a double diamond-thunderbolt (dorje) surmounted by a jewel and framed by two dragons. The reverse displays the Tashichho Dzong, a Buddhist monastery and fortress on the northern edge of the city of Thimphu in Bhutan and it has been the seat of the government since 1952.
