This was the first time I had ever seen a lion (right in front of me). After getting up at 4 a.m. and traveling for 90 minutes through the bumpy bushes of Masai Mara, I could see Shot Tail and Logol, the two brothers in the African savannah, through my viewfinder.
It was truly wonderful to witness these brothers waking up and seeking food and water. It was a foggy and dusty morning, and the dust was flowing right out of their mouths as they exhaled.
The brothers were strolling directly in front of me, thanks to the driver's assistance in situating the jeep. And, courtesy to the advanced equipment, I was able to catch every single step they took while gazing direct into the camera and walk...
