Although Fidel has been in the Path of Night for sometime, her journey has only just begun. Right before her discovery of it, she had been running from a mysterious group of hired assassins looking to end her life. As a powerful witch, she did the best she could to fend them off with every spell she could think of. In the end none of them could claim her life, however she was not with out grievous injuries.
