Dusk over San Francisco

The Bay Area is famously known for its unique fog patterns that surround the coastal hillsides of San Francisco. As dusk sets, the city comes alive with glimpses of light emerging from the blanket of fog above it. Photographing on Mt Tamalpais has been the cornerstone of my journey as an artist growing up in this area. Countless nights have been spent hiking across every foot of this mountain in search of compositions of fog pushing across the endless valleys below. Watching the fog in the distance while anxiously waiting for my camera to illuminate the near dark environment around me is the rush that got me addicted to photography in the first place.
