My NFT & parenting journeys started in the same place, the anatomical heart. My daughter was born with a rare heart defect & needed open heart surgery at 11 days old. I decided to draw hearts as a way to cope. I took those hearts & created my first [NFT collection](https://opensea.io/collection/anatomicalhearts). As my first collection, the anatomical hearts will remain a separate yet intertwined project.

The Anatomical Project was born out of my desire to support different parts of the body in the hopes that others would connect the art with their own personal journeys. The Anatomical Project is an on-going project where, over time, I am going to release additional parts of the body as 100 piece sets.
