Ep4. Hope - Dnipro. Irina: This piece was created on the day before we left Ukraine, while I was preparing everything for the long journey with my kids towards the unknown. The piece of a building Alexander captured here, gives me a peaceful feel, which resulted in this drawing of a girl growing some plant with a tiny heart in it. It was created first, but is the final part of the story which is symbolic on several levels - the hope that led me through this escape journey, the art project that helped me to stay sane, the thought of life going on despite the horrible times, and the hope to finally grow something new from the ashes of my abandoned life.
