Twisted Vortex

”Salt Water” showcases beautifully chaotic moments of a breaking waves frozen in time. My love of the ocean, riding waves, photography and challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone has created the capacity for me to create these pieces. Reverberation of the dry barnacle covered rock shelf directly in front of this wave caused ribs of sideways moving water to be picked up into the wave face and become part of the "Twisted Vortex" seen here. I find myself fascinated by the movement I see present in this still image and is one of my favourites in this collection.
