About - Panchabhootas Bhoomi // Earth Depicting the elements as Platonic solids. This geometric exercise looks at understanding the sacred geometry associated with the five base elements of nature. Platonic solids are 3d polyhedrons with equal surfaces meeting at a vertex. The name is derived after Pluto - a Greek philosopher who hypothesized that the classical elements are made out of these solids. Each artwork looks at the platonic solids, the numbers from which the solid is derived, the projection grid, the alchemy symbols of each respective element, and the stereographic projections.
