SPEAK NO BEAUTY. HEAR NO BEAUTY. SEE NO BEAUTY.
A play on the Japanese proverb, 'See no evil, hear no evil, speak, no evil', this piece speaks on the impropriety of turning a blind eye to socio-political wrongdoings in the modern world. Now more than ever, in a time when our human rights and our ability to vocalise our right to protest are at risk, it is of the utmost importance that we celebrate our cultural differences and continue to strive for social equity. This artwork draws on personal experiences and contains small references to queer history.
