Landmannalaugar is a natural wonder situated in the colorful rhyolite mountains of Fjallabak Nature Reserve. Landmannalaugar is Iceland’s a geothermal nature reserve in the southern highlands and is located at the edge of Laugahraun lava field, which was formed in an eruption in around 1477 The region is known for its soothing hot springs, brightly colored peaks, steam plumes, and clear blue lakes.
