I found water in one of the driest places on earth! This is one of my favorite areas of Death Valley National Park because the water and the patterns are always changing so each time I visit, it looks like a completely different place. This area of the park has underground salt springs that come to the surface. When it's too hot, all the water evaporates and leaves the salt patterns. But in the winter, water can be found on the surface as well. On this visit I photographed these intriguing V shaped patterns that led to the mountains and the clouds, all unified by the sun as a star.
