This photo means so much more than just a moment or memory. It signifies the reconnection between my dad and I, as well as the emotions I feel right now, especially after stepping into the full-time artist life. My dad and I used to be really close when I was really young, but as I started struggling in school, in subjects like math and science, that ended up changing. My dad started favouring my brother, especially because he was more academically inclined, and an avid bookworm. So in school, he was a shining star, while I struggled because I was never given the opportunity to exercise my creativity.
