Edition 1/1 Digital Photograph. 3000px X 2000px Location: Nagaland, Myanmar. 2013 The Naga's are a warrior tribe living in remote areas on either side of the Myanmar - India border. They used to practice head hunting, the last known case happened in the 1960's. This man is a participant in a tribal gathering festival in Burmese Nagaland. It's clear from his costume that he comes from a lineage of hunters. Bear fur, wild boar teeth, hornbill skulls and a string of tiger claws all decorate his woven cane headdress. The Soul2Soul Collection consists of 55 intimate portraits taken by photographer Hans Kemp over many decades of travel across Asia.
