#鉄の微笑 頭部に装着する拷問器具の類いで、アイアンメイデンの一種。 その内側には無数の鉄鋲が仕込まれており、装着された受刑者の苦悶の叫びとは裏腹に、奇妙な｢鉄の微笑み」をたたえてのたうち回るその姿は、人々に異常な恐怖心を植え付ける事に利用されたという。 #Iron Smile A kind of torture device worn on the head, a kind of Iron Maiden.
