The Suburbs

While I love to photograph the lone shacks out on the ice, it is not uncommon to find them grouped close together like these two. Often Ice Shack owners will set up next to one another year after year, creating familiar communities on the lake. I couldn't resist these ones, glowing in the warm light of a setting sun.
