The authentic woodcut with several plates is a very time-consuming and difficulty process to produce a coloured print. For the numerous subtle colour nuances, the artist Olaf Hoppe had to cut **seven different wooden plates** and print them on top of each other with millimetre precision. With this specialised technique, the artist is internationally recognised.
