The authentic woodcut with several plates is a very time-consuming and difficulty process to produce a coloured print. For the numerous subtle colour nuances, the artist Olaf Hoppe had to cut **seven different wooden plates** and print them on top of each other with millimetre precision. With this specialised technique, the artist is internationally recognised. In this video you can see how the different layers are stacked on top of each other to create an impressive work of art. In the physical world, there are exactly 200 signed and numbered copies.
