Raptographer & Friends is a collection of photography, digital artwork, & music based on the work and mind of New York City-based photographer Christopher “Raptographer” Ayala.

Working in collaboration with art studio NeonRetroFuture, Christopher’s photos take on a new life with references from his favorite music, animes, and life experiences, creating works that meld the realistic with the fantastic. Each photo in this genesis collection marks a pivotal moment in both his career and personal life.

The collection is comprised of 5 unique digital animations all having #’d editions. The 5 photographs that inspired these animations will also all be sold as 1 of 1 pieces. These drops include 8x10 ceramic tiles and prints on fine art paper, all signed and dated by the artist.

Christopher plans to release more collections in the future, creating a unique and dynamic experience for collectors of his work.

For "This Is Our Home", I took an original photograph of a seemingly ordinary moment (two kids observing a pickup game), and turned it into a fantastical rendering of the city that raised me. The kids are still observers, but now an electrified titan takes their attention, backlit by the magenta skyline.
