Mt. Baker is a heavily glaciated 10,781 ft stratovolcano located roughly 30 miles east of Bellingham, Washington. It is the second most glaciated volcano in the Cascade Range after Mt. Rainier, and one of the snowiest places on Earth.
I took this image at sunset during a three day backpacking trip to the North side of Mt. Baker. This trip was originally only supposed to be one night, but after hiking nine miles round trip back to the trailhead, I found that my car wouldn't start.
