C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) is a long-period comet discovered on 17 August 2014 by Terry Lovejoy, an amateur astronomer like me.
So, on the 20th of January 2015 I took several hundred exposures of this comet in BW using a Takahashi FS102 NSV fluorite Refractor, a dedicated CCD camera cooled at -25ºC and a robotized G11 equatorial mount.
Making the GIFs always was fun in Adobe Fireworks.
This was the scientific part, the funniest part arrived just today when I had the idea of mixing real images of the comet (coma, nucleus and both the dust and ionic tail are real, check the real image at my astrobin https://www.astrobin.com/151825/) with some flying artistic mushrooms!
