Today I work from home and join a meeting at 9am about a potential exploit in the project. I get up 10 mins before the call. With 5 hours of sleep, I can hardly think. However, I have the fear if I don’t speak up, they will remove me from the meeting next time thinking I’m not contributing. In this company there’s a really blur line of responsibilities and authority. You can easily get ride of a responsibility while it’s the same for losing the authority. I’m not good at getting away from responsibility (learning tho) but also not good at playing power. So I listen carefully and give my suggestions, consolidate everyone’s opinions to a conclusion.
