Atrax robustus, also known as the 'Sydney funnel-web Spider' is a species of venomous mygalomorph spider native to eastern Australia, usually found within a 100 km radius of Sydney. The bite of a funnel-web is initially very painful, fang marks are evident and the size of fangs is responsible for the initial pain. Symptoms can include breathing difficulty, disorientation and confusion and unconsciousness. Part of the Originals Subcollection.
