Blue Portrait #3

The blue portrait compositions investigate the idea of abstract portraiture and character design. I was looking for a way to make characters in a shorthand fashion as one would use in note taking but they became way more complex. This piece is a work on paper made with charcoal, graphite, spray paint, and acrylic paint. It is part of an ongoing series that began in 2021.
