This was the moment I had been dreaming of my entire life.
My very first tornado.
Watching the spiraling white tendrils of condensation reach elegantly toward the ground, and then kick up a little swirl of dust at the surface, was entrancing. I think I held my breath for the first minute or so while taking photos and video of this tornado. I was completely lost and consumed in that moment. Time stood still, the world grew silent. I didn't want to blink out of fear I might miss a single incredible, breathtaking second of its lifecycle..
This was the moment I knew.
This is what I want to do for the rest of my life.
