After losing a battle, a band of adventurers are help captive by a pirate lord and eventually forced into the rowing crew. They go through hell during weeks of storm, and eventually, the ships sink. The adventurers, along with some surviving pirates, are able to literally keep their heads out of the water and drift for a few days until they are spotted by harmless fishermen in unknown territory. Soon, the fishermen get the adventurers and their new companions to their village.
