Standing Tall

Standing Tall captures a significant moment and a different perspective. We watched this giraffe for a while as it slowly tried to graze from this acacia tree. It couldn't reach the lowest leaves no matter how much it tried. It stretched up for a while before moving on and following another giraffe to a tree that had leaves it could reach. Although we would naturally think of giraffes as giant animals, I purposefully zoomed out for this shot. This shows the perspective that in the big wide world, these graceful creatures are still just a tiny part of nature.
