Blue Fire

Into liquid represents my 7 year journey of artistic discovery and obsession with remote liquid landscapes. As someone who was never very artistic, the discovery of big wave photography opened up a whole new creative realm for me and completely changed the way I perceived and related to the natural world. I became obsessed with capturing the raw power of deep water big waves. The oceans endlessness both terrifies and intrigues me. Over the years I have developed a signature style of editing in photoshop. The process is like meditation with each image taking hours to retouch.
