Once, when I was seven my father and I were travelling by train. I woke up in the middle of the night and looked out of the window. There was a transparent blanket soaring above the summer grass following the train. It was wonderful and so ethereal! Those thousands of leaves gently moving under the see-through fabric. I had a feeling like I've just seen a miracle.
I almost felt a triumph and it was perfectly enough. It was no reason to tell anyone.
Being an adult I got what it was, but I still choose to keep the child's eye on it.
