Nonlinear Perspectives 2 (6/8/2021, R Code). This piece is part of twenty selected generative artworks released as unique iterations (numbered 1-10), in a limited collection by Kenny Vaden: “A Human in Times of Chaos.” Thirty rows of vertical lines with horizontal endpoint locations based on cumulative cosine functions, with each row drawn in random order and interspersed with dark gray discs of random size, location, and transparency. Line colors and thickness were selected from a jittered gradient. The randomly ordered row and circular polygons create intriguing and confusing perspective illusions, with line rows in front or behind discs that they should not.
