Fire and Justice

The inspiration itself for this piece came through dear friends of ours: a magical young lady who aspires to be a lawyer and her wonderful boyfriend who works as a fireman and a medic. Together, they are a kind and uplifting couple who bless us with their presence as often as time allows and always make us smile and inspire me with their dynamic youth. First, the canvas was primed with acrylic paint, then colour contrasts were worked out with a spatula. Later, structural accents were set by use of a balloon and breathed life into the picture.
