The Apocalypse collection's mission is to display the stark contrast of our planet's strongest forces, ice and fire. Both mold our world through their destruction and creation. Every ice cave that I have explored in this collection over 4 years has formed and then vanished. The magma that has been ejected from our volcanos in just 6 months has destroyed all in its path but also created brand new lands in Iceland. Ice and Fire are in a constant dance with each other. However, humanity is attempting to interrupt their majestic harmony. If we continue down our current path, these forces won't be stopped, we just won't be here to witness them anymore. The apocalypse will come for all of us and our earth will continue in it's never-ending dance without us.

Over the 4 years that I have explored all of these ice caves, every single one of them has vanished from existence. The ice pushes down the glacial rivers from the mountains and forms new blue worlds to be discovered each year. These rivers are shrinking exponentially though as we warm our planet. And if more ice is destroyed than can be created, all of these ice worlds will soon cease to exist.
