Standing Alone

I would say this tree has to be easily one of the most beautful I have seen across South Korea. It has everything I love about these trees: beautiful bark texture and a dramatic shape that overhangs the rock face on which it grows. On this particular morning I actually slept through my original alarm clock and woke up just in time to see the beautiful sunrise. In my rush I ended up shooting before even having a chance to put on my shoes so I ended up rushing around this scene barefoot. When the scene is as beautiful as this it is easy to forget those little details.
