On this day, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, built in 1357 AD, the temple spire was draped with golden fabric. An overcast sky defused the suns light. The contrasting gold to the aged stone structure gave a youthful beauty to a buddha which has been sitting for over 700 years. Sun, rain, and growth, all give this site a wonderous array of scattered colors which I was so lucky to capture on 27 July, 2019.
