Are you from Japan 2. Hanfu

A few years ago I was invited to host a presentation at the celebration of Chinese New Year. I ended up in a performance group wearing a garment displaying what the ancient Chinese would be wearing. That was the first time I knew the name ‘Hanfu’, for the Han Chinese. I’ve fallen in love with it and of course I was mistaken as Japanese and Hanfu was mistaken as Kimono. However, the synergy between the two is just fascinating. So this project is about personal identity and culture fusion. Welcome to the journey with me!
