The Metta-Verse is a collection of artworks created by PHLERP Designs, with the intention of providing a visual space in the Metaverse for Peace, Harmony, Liberation, Enlightenment, Resonance, and Presence. As humanity moves into the metaverse it is important to remain mindful and grounded in the present. It is the intention of The Metta-Verse Collection to assist viewers in providing a visual artistic means to reach this end. 

"Metta" is a Pali word that is loosely translated as "loving kindness." However, this word encompasses more than this. Ruth King describes Metta as, "Kindness without exception, an indiscriminate friendliness." The practice of Metta in Buddhist circles is the practice of compassion for all beings

The Metta-Verse

This piece plays with the idea of casting shadows and lights and represents casting a light in to reveal our shadow. Only when we begin to observe and be aware of our shadow self can we lesson its grip on our subconscious and become whole. By embracing and illuminating our shadow and casting in the light, we can grow towards the shadow. There is no light without the dark and no dark without the light. Only by embracing our duality can we become whole.
